Presentation on a Tourist Spot in Bogotá

For my third activity, I created a presentation in English (GA2-240202501-AA2-EV02) on a tourist location in my region, Bogotá. This presentation allowed me to practice both my speaking and writing skills while showcasing the history, key features, and personal significance of the place I chose. It was an opportunity to share something meaningful to me, while also improving my ability to describe a location and express my opinion in English.

Activity Description

In this activity, I selected a tourist spot in Bogotá, which I believe holds cultural and historical value. I created a detailed presentation in Canva, highlighting the key aspects of the location, such as its history, the sensations it evokes, and why it is important to me. I also shared my personal opinion on why I chose this particular place, reflecting on its impact and the emotions it brings out when I visit.

The presentation was complemented with a video where I described the tourist spot in English, providing viewers with both a visual and auditory understanding of the place. This helped me enhance my spoken English while ensuring that the information was clear and engaging.

Conclusion

This activity helped me practice describing a location in English, improving both my writing and speaking skills.
